Answer: Be a great customer.
Common sense perhaps, yet surprisingly some people make it more difficult than it needs to be.

As a customer if you are rude or off-hand with your service provider you teach them not to do any more for you than they absolutely have to.
Alternatively, if you are friendly they will generally show you the same in return.
And, if you choose to step up and show kindness, mutual respect and consideration they share those qualities with others.
